Sub-processors

Outage Observer is operated by Dusk Research. We rely on a minimal set of third-party sub-processors to run the service. This page lists them and how we manage them.

Our approach

We keep sub-processors to the minimum needed to operate. Each is bound by its own data-protection terms, and we share only the data required for it to perform its function. We update this page when the list changes.

Current sub-processors

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, edge compute, database, and network security (Cloudflare Workers, D1, and KV). Hosts all service data; the primary database region is the European Union (Western Europe). See Cloudflare's Trust Hub and its Data Processing Addendum.

This is the only sub-processor that stores or processes customer data. Outage Observer uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking processors.
